Biography

Secured a return to The European Tour at the 2011 Qualifying School Final Stage, banishing the memories of near misses in previous seasons. In 2009 he finished 21st in the Challenge Tour Rankings, missing out on promotion by one spot, and the following two seasons ended with 29th place finishes in the Rankings. Will hope to rediscover the form of 2005, when he enjoyed a wonderful rookie season, finishing 46th in the Order of Merit having come second on two occasions, at the Jazztel Open de España en Andalucia, where he lost a play-off, and at the Omega European Masters. Slipped to 100th place in 2006 and lost his card in 2007. His career was interrupted by sciatica in 2001, but he climbed his way back to the top through the tiers – coming through the Nordic League to the Challenge Tour to The European Tour. Instantly recognisable on the course due to his love of multi-coloured sun hats.
