Will be competing alongside McIlroy on The 2011 European Tour International Schedule, having finished on the nine under par mark at the 2010 Qualifying School Final Stage to take the 33rd card – his first success in four visits to the School. Won three times on the third tier Jamega Pro Golf Tour across the United Kingdom before securing his first victory of note at the Egyptian Open in 2009, a year before the event joined the European Challenge Tour Schedule. Saw off a field which included Europe’s Ryder Cup Captain Colin Montgomerie at the JW Marriott Mirage City Golf Club in the Egyptian capital Cairo, where the windy conditions and links-style layout reminded him of Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club, his home club in Kent.
