Biography

On the same day that his close friend and compatriot Estanislao Goya registered his breakthrough European Tour victory at the Madeira Islands Open BPI – Portugal, the teenager clinched his maiden Challenge Tour title at the Club Colombia Masters presentado por Personal. Despite having to endure a two-hour play suspension due to torrential rain and thunderstorms at Country Club de Bogota, he displayed patience and a poise which belied his tender years to take the title by one shot, and so fulfil “a dream”. He will now play a full season on the Challenge Tour in the hope of following his friend Goya, who graduated in fifth place in the 2008 Rankings, onto The European Tour.
