Attended the same university and is signed to the management company as three-time Major champion Phil Mickelson. Graduated in 2010 with a degree in Finance from Arizona State, which was also the university Paul Casey attended. The highlight of his collegiate career came in his final year, when he birdied five of his last six holes to help Arizona State reach the NCAA Finals. Also garnered individual honours after being named the 2009/10 Men’s Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year and earning a 2010 ESPN All-American Honourable Mention. Suffered from chronic fatigue after leaving university, but after regaining full fitness secured some sponsors’ invitations to play on the Challenge Tour including at the lucrative Kazakhstan Open, where he finished runner-up behind England’s Tommy Fleetwood. Narrowly failed to secure a European Tour card through the Challenge Tour Rankings but made amends with a superb display at the Qualifying School Final Stage, where he recorded two holes in one en route to taking the seventh card available to earn his place in The 2012 Race to Dubai. Is a keen follower of the stock markets in his spare time.
