After ten years as a professional, finally made it to the European Tour after taking the 27th and final card at the Qualifying School Final Stage in November 2015. Endured a nerve-wracking final round, a six over par 78 sending him tumbling down the leaderboard, and emotional scenes ensued when it was confirmed he had scraped in on the mark. Dedicated the achievement to his late father, wife and two young children. Qualified for the Open Championship in 2014 and fulfilled a lifelong ambition by teeing it up at Royal Liverpool. Was introduced to the game aged three by his golf-mad dad, who he cites as his inspiration. Although he enjoyed playing football, he quit in his early teens to focus on his true passion, before studying for a golf degree at Preston University. Met his wife at 15 years of age and married her nine years later. A huge rugby league fan and regularly attends Huddersfield Giants matches with his family.
