In his third season on the European Tour, the popular New Zealander claimed his maiden title at the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth, beating Adrian Otaegui in the final of the innovative event. Had come close to victory at the 2018 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open where he lost out in a play-off to Russell Knox, who holed successive 30-foot putts - in regulation play and in the first extra hole - for an unlikely win. His breakthrough Challenge Tour season came in 2016 season, when he won the Tayto Northern Ireland Open en route to a fourth place finish in the Rankings. Represented New Zealand at the Olympic Games in Rio the same year. Son of legendary All Black fly-half Grant Fox, who played in their 1987 World Cup win and was selector for their 2011 and 2015 triumphs, he was born in Auckland and turned professional in 2012.
