His decision at the age of 14 to move away from his home town to the Argentinian capital Buenos Aires so he could play golf looked to have paid dividends when he graduated to The European Tour via the 2011 Qualifying School Final Stage. A 65 in the fifth round at PGA Catalunya Resort was key to his taking the ninth card, and he made the most of it by finishing 94th in The 2012 Race to Dubai thanks largely to top ten finishes in the Africa Open, the Lyoness Open powered by Greenfinity and the ISPS Handa Perth International. Following his move to Buenos Aires, he then subsequently moved to the USA at the age of 16 to study as well as hone his golf skills, having already spent a year travelling back and forth to the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Represented Argentina as an amateur and won the Tarra Cotta Invitational in Naples, Florida in April 2011 before turning professional in September. Supports Argentinian football team River Plate.
