Was unable to retain his playing rights in 2013 and was plagued by injury problems in 2014, although he recovered in time to take the 12th card at the Qualifying School Final Stage in November and earn another season on the top tier. The back problems returned in 2015, however, forcing him to remodel his swing to compensate. Started playing at the age of five at a golf course in Sweden which was a 15 minute boat ride from the family’s summer house in Norway. His sporting career could have taken a different path however if he had followed in his mother’s footsteps, as she was a European skiing champion in the 1970s.
