Fast-tracked a return to The European Tour for a sophomore season thanks to a stellar turn on the Challenge Tour that saw him win three times in nine starts in 2014. Playing on an invite at the Kärnten Golf Open presented by Mazda, the German romped home to a maiden title, before doubling his haul just a fortnight later at the Fred Olsen Challenge de España. His third win came at the inaugural Azerbaijan Golf Challenge Open, meaning he graduated automatically to The Race to Dubai. Returned to play the final two events of the Challenge Tour season en route to fourth place in the Rankings from just 11 starts. Originally burst onto the scene by earning the sixth card on offer at the Qualifying School Final Stage in 2012 as an amateur, before turning professional immediately. Had a stellar amateur career that featured wins in the German and Portuguese Amateur Championships in 2012. Also represented Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup in 2010, the same year he won both the French and German Boys Championships. Attached to Golf Club St Leon-Rot – a European Tour Destination - he started playing aged six when his grandfather introduced him to the game.
