Fast-tracked a return to The European Tour for a second season thanks to a stellar spell on the Challenge Tour, during which he won three times in nine starts in 2014. Playing on a sponsor’s invitation at the Kärnten Golf Open presented by Mazda, the German romped home to a maiden title, before doubling his haul a fortnight later at the Fred Olsen Challenge de España. His third win came at the inaugural Azerbaijan Golf Challenge Open, meaning he graduated automatically to The European Tour. Returned to play the final two events of the Challenge Tour season and took fourth place in the Rankings from 11 events. Burst onto the scene by earning the sixth card at the Qualifying School Final Stage in 2012 as an amateur, before turning professional immediately. Had a stellar amateur career which featured wins in the German and Portuguese Amateur Championships in 2012. Also represented Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup in 2008 and 2010, the same year he won the French Boys and German Amateur Match Play Championships. Attached to Golf Club St Leon-Rot – a European Tour Destination - he started playing aged six when his grandfather introduced him to the game.
