Enjoyed a superb debut season on The European Tour in 2014, finishing 36th in The Race to Dubai standings and posting five top ten finishes. Showed his intentions early in the year with a tied second finish at the Joburg Open in South Africa, before finishing in a tie for fourth and third respectively at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open and Omega European Masters. Can credit his rise to The European Tour to a superb run of form late in the 2013 Challenge Tour season. Sat in 46th position in the Rankings with five tournaments left, before a top ten at the Open Blue Green Côtes d'Armor Bretagne was followed by successive tied runner-up finishes in the lucrative Kazakhstan Open and The Foshan Open. He secured his graduation with tied sixth place in the Dubai Festival City Challenge Tour Grand Final hosted by Al Badia Golf Club, ending the season tenth in the Rankings to earn a rookie campaign on the top tier. Represented England as an amateur and reached the semi-final of the English Amateur Championship in 2011 before being knocked out by eventual winner Steven Brown. Started playing golf aged three at a local par three course, where he was once awarded a mini green jacket for winning a children’s competition. Dreamed of being a European Tour player since going to watch the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club, 30 minutes from his home in Marlow, numerous times when he was growing up.
