After some consistent performances on both The European and Challenge Tours in 2014, burst back into the spotlight at the inaugural Made in Denmark, where he finished second to Marc Warren after leading going into the weekend. Seven days later, Dredge finished second again, this time to compatriot Jamie Donaldson at the D&D Real Czech Masters as he secured his place in The 2015 Race to Dubai. A tied third place at the BMW International Open was the highlight of the 2010 season, when he narrowly missed out on earning a place in the season-ending Dubai World Championship by finishing in 63rd position. Played in the Vivendi Trophy with Seve Ballesteros on two occasions, in 2005 and 2007, emerging as the leading points scorer on the latter occasion. Partnered Stephen Dodd in Wales’ victory in the World Cup in Portugal in 2005, emulating the feat of David Llewellyn and Ian Woosnam in leading Wales to World Cup glory. Prior to turning professional, he was runner-up to Stephen Dundas in The Amateur Championship at Carnoustie in 1992 but gained some consolation with a place in the Walker Cup team of 1993. Twice graduated from the Challenge Tour before establishing himself as one of the most consistent performers on The European Tour.
