Was back at the Qualifying School in 2012 but ensured another return to The European Tour and will hope to retain his playing privileges in 2013 after mixed campaigns in 2011 and 2012. In the latter he was tied fourth in the Madeira Islands Open – Portugal and tied fifth in the Irish Open but finished 128th in The Race to Dubai. Bounced back by taking the second card at PGA Catalunya Resort. His two European Tour titles both came at Le Meridien Moscow Country Club, first in the 2005 Russian Open and then in the 2008 Inteco Russian Open Golf Championship. Finished ninth in the 2007 Challenge Tour Rankings, winning the Italian Federation Cup in the process. Made relatively slow progress over the first five years of his professional career, but first qualified for The European Tour through the Challenge Tour in 2000. Introduced to golf by his father Lars, a four handicapper. Got down to scratch by the age of 17, played for Sweden’s Boys side in 1988 and made the full national team three years later. Represented Sweden in the Eisenhower Trophy in Paris in 1994. Spent a year at junior college in Alabama between 1993 and 1994.
