Frenchman Christophe Pottier romped to the top of the leaderboard in the Skandia PGA Open in Bokskogen after returning an eight-under-par 64.

It leaves the 30 year old on 14 under par 202, four strokes clear of Finland's Pasi Purhonen, who carded a 67, and five ahead of the rest of the field.

Purhonen ran in eight birdies in his 67 to stay a shot clear of three Swedes, Joakim Rask, Pehr Magnebrant, and Johan Annerfelt.

The best placed British players are Yorkshire's Ben Mason and Lorne Kelly from Scotland in joint seventh place on seven under par 209, Mason after a 73 and Kelly with 70.
