Stal seals second title in Switzerland
Gary Stal confirmed his status as one of the hottest prospects in European golf after the 20 year old Frenchman claimed his second Challenge Tour title in as many months at the Credit Suisse Challenge, beating compatriot Alexandre Kaleka in a play-off.
Stal edges into lead in Lucerne
Gary Stal edged into the lead as the Frenchman and Andrea Perrino, playing in the final group, reached the turn in the final day of the Credit Suisse Challenge, with a birdie on the ninth hole moving Stal a shot clear on 11 under par.
Perrino continues ‘Italian job’ in Lucerne
Andrea Perrino continued a fine day for Italian golf as the Livorno man moved into a three way tie for the lead going into the final day of the Credit Suisse Challenge, alongside Finland’s Janne Mommo and Frenchman Gary Stal.

Andrea Perrino set the pace in the clubhouse midway through the second day of the Credit Suisse Challenge in Switzerland after a five under par round of 66 moved him to seven under for the tournament, two shots behind leader on the course Joachim B Hansen.

Spain’s Agustin Domingo was looking the most likely to mount a challenge on Joachim B Hansen’s lead in the early stages of the second day at the Credit Suisse Challenge as he moved to within two shots of the summit when he reached the turn in four under par, seven under for the tournament.

Former Ryder Cup star Oliver Wilson believes he is capable of winning on his return to the Challenge Tour after seven years of near misses on The European Tour as he made the Credit Suisse Challenge his first of a run of events on the developmental tour.
