Kristoffer Broberg (Kai Kilappa)
Kristoffer Broberg (Kai Kilappa)

Kristoffer Broberg was on the verge of his fourth Challenge Tour victory in six appearances as he took a two shot lead into the final nine holes of the Crown Plaza Copenhagen Challenge hosted by Royal Golf Club.

The 26 year old Swede has an incredible record this season and has already earned promotion to The European Tour after winning three times in four weeks during the summer.

He was two under par for the day at the turn in the final round and 12 under overall, two ahead of Englishman Simon Wakefield, who was also two under through nine holes, and four in front of Daniel Brooks, who was level par.

Should Broberg win, he will be the first player to win four times in one season since Warren Bennett claimed five titles in 1998.
