Royal Golf Club is a first-class international heathland golf course. The course features a tremendous variety where careful and creative design has led to an exciting game for golfers of all levels.

The variety of tees ensure that all levels of golfers enjoy a suitably challenging experience. Many greens are guarded by water features, which reward the thoughtful and strategic player. Throughout the course, each element has been positioned carefully and is expertly detailed to make for a thrilling experience.

The magic of the 18 holes lies in the involved dialogue between the golfer and the landscape. A dialogue that provides the golfer with a different experience each time the course is played.

The Sundberg family enlisted Ron Kirby, former Head Senior Designer for Jack Nicklaus for a decade, to design the course. After considering the course routing, to adapt as many of the old trees as possible and the lowland native areas in a beautiful and natural way, the construction began in 2008. The final result was presented at the opening in 2010.
