Sihwan Kim extended his advantage in the early stages of Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge after two days affected by thunderstorms and flooding in France.

Almost half of the field had to return to PGA France Golf du Vaudreuil to finish their second rounds on Saturday morning, after overnight storms had left areas of the course flooded. However once play had resumed at midday, and by the time everyone was finished, it was Kim who remained atop the leaderboard at 15 under par having finished his 36 holes on Friday.

Once the third 18 got going it was the Korean who continued where he had previously left off, carding birdies at the third and fourth holes to extend his advantage, at 17 under par, to three over Scotland's Duncan Stewart.

A shot further back are Kim's playing partners, Dylan Frittelli and Edouard Espana, who are both one over for the day in a tie for third, while Ben Evans is one behind them and putting together one of the rounds of the day so far.

The Englishman is 12 under par through a dozen holes of the third round, thanks to three birdies in a row from the third, before further red figures followed at nine, 11 and 12.

Evans is playing on a sponsor's invitation this week, and is making his first start of the season on the Challenge Tour, and alongside him in a tie for fourth is Andrew Johnstone, Brinson Paolini, Adrian Otaegui and Lionel Weber.
