Sihwan Kim saw his five stroke overnight advantage at Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge shrink by a shot on the final day after returning to complete a third round of 67 on Sunday morning.

The Korean is ideally placed, at 20 under par, to pick up a maiden Challenge Tour title at PGA Golf France du Vaudreuil, but he will need to hold off the chasing Adrian Otaegui if he is to manage that.

A shot further back in a tie for third are three Frenchman, namely Baptiste Chapellan - who shot a third round 62 - as well as Edouard Espana and Lionel Weber. They are alongside American Brinson Paolini who carded a second consecutive round of 66 to post 15 under par through 54 holes.

Thunderstorms had halted play on Saturday night during a week disrupted by the weather, and that meant the leading players still had ten holes left to complete first thing this morning.

Kim had rattled off two birdies and an eagle in his first eight holes yesterday en route to establishing a commanding position, but he opened today with a bogey on the ninth. Normal service was resumed after that however, when further red figures followed at 12, 14 and 15, before anther bogey at the last.

Also going well is Englishman Ben Evans, who fired a fine round of 66 in the third round to jump up the leaderboard in only his first start on the Challenge Tour in 2013. He is already underway in round four and is 14 under par through six holes.
