At the 2018 D+D REAL Czech Challenge, Minkyu Kim made history by becoming the youngest winner of a European Tour or European Challenge Tour event.

At 17 years and 64 days old, the Korean displayed poise in a final round where he began in front, fell behind, and then went eight under par on the final 12 holes of the tournament to win by three.

In doing so, the Korean claimed the ‘youngest champion’ distinction from Italy’s Matteo Manassero who won the European Tour’s 2010 CASTELLÓ MASTERS Costa Azahar at 17 years and 188 days old.

A year after on from the historic win, the D+D REAL Czech Challenge will be hosted by Kaskáda Golf Resort, in Brno, Czech Republic. The event comes two weeks after the Prague Golf Challenge as the second of two consecutive tournaments in the country.

With an early position on the Challenge Tour International Schedule, these events will be hotly contested and key for any player hoping to make an early rise up the rankings.
