Now in its 13th year, the Open de Pléneuf attracts large crowds and is a favourite amongst the Challenge Tour players with Golf Blue Green de Pléneuf Val André a picturesque setting overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Benjamin Hebert is the only French winner of the event, triumphing in 2014, whilst English players have tasted success six times, starting with Peter Baker claiming the maiden event in 2007.
It was English dominance from 2009 to 2012 with Lee James, Sam Walker, Phillip Archer and Eddie Pepperell tasting success in that period. Jack Singh Brar, the 2018 winner, made it six English victories from 12 editions of the event with his maiden Challenge Tour success.
