NEW Cleveland Launcher DST Driver – the lightest most powerful driver in golf The new Cleveland Launcher DST driver may look like a fairly conventional club, but it’s hiding a big technology secret... ...The Launcher DST is the lightest driver in golf! The clubweight is just 292 grams – that’s 25 grams lighter than standard drivers, which usually weigh in around the 317 grams mark. The lighter the clubweight, the faster the clubhead speed and that equals greater overall distance (a three to 10 yard gain). At only a half millimetre in thickness, the new Launcher crown is the thinnest possible, which also helps move every bit of potential weight low and deep in the clubhead to optimise launch conditions and maximise distance. |

NEW Launcher DST Fairway Wood The new Cleveland Launcher DST fairway woods are the perfect complement to the new DST driver as they have been designed to offer a powerful ball flight and outstanding forgiveness. A large face provides forgiveness from both heel and toe miss hits, producing more consistent results, even on those less than perfect strikes. The Launcher DST fairway has also been designed for exceptional stability so that miss hits perform nearly as well as perfect strikes. Cleveland Golf’s European investment pays off as Søren Kjeldsen secures victory in Seville... Søren Kjeldsen, who recently signed to Cleveland Golf, held his nerve to win the Open de Andalucia de Golf 09. Søren, who is the current Volvo Masters Champion, joins a list of world class players who have won the title including Cleveland Golf’s very own Vijay Singh who won back in 1992. Kjeldsen’s rounds of 68, 72, 62 and 72 gave him a total of 274 to win by three shots. The victory capped a thrilling week which saw him secure a new course record with his fantastic career best third round of 62 at the Real Club de Golf in Seville Spain. The victory sees Kjeldsen break into the top 15 in the Race to Dubai, puts him just outside the top 40 in the world and earns him his debut at the Masters Tournament |

SINGH DRIVES TO VICTORY AT WGC-BRIDGESTONE INVITATIONAL Vijay Singh earned his first World Golf Championship and won for the 32nd time on the PGATOUR, placing his name in the record books for most PGA TOUR victories by aninternational player. The victory also made him the oldest champion in the 10-year history of the tournament while extending his streak of at least one victory in each of the last six years. “I drove the ball beautifully and hit a lot of good iron shots,” said Singh. “My driver was unbelievable, a Cleveland HiBORE. CLEVELAND GOLF LAUNCHES INVITATIONAL EVENT AT THE OLD HEAD GOLF LINKS, IRELAND TO GREAT ACCLAIM. IT TOOK a three-way play-off to decide the winner of the inaugural Cleveland Golf invitational – an event made all the more challenging thanks to the driving rain and gale force winds. Forty-two teams – each made up of a club pro that stocks the brand, and an amateur from that club – made the trip to exclusive Irish course Old Head for the event, held on 21 – 22 June 2008. Designed to enhance Cleveland’s relationship with key customers, the invitational was split into two competitions – an 18 hole stroke play competition for the pros and a better ball, best score pairs competition. |

This new series of putters combines Cleveland Golf's Dual Axis Alignment™ technology with the benefits of precision CNC Milling. Engineers at Cleveland Golf have learned that one of the major contributors to missed putts is misalignment. "Unlike most sports, where the eyes are positioned directly behind the target, the putting stroke positions the eyes to the side of the target," said Adam Sheldon, Business Unit Leader at Cleveland Golf. "Unless a player's eyes are positioned directly above the balls centre and on the intended target line, visual misperceptions will occur."
