Precision the name of the game for brilliant Bourdy
16 Nov 2009
Pinpoint precision with both his irons and putter was the main reason behind Grégory Bourdy’s success at last week’s UBS Hong Kong Open. Across the four days at Hong Kong Golf Club, the Frenchman topped Genworth Financial Statistics’ Greens in Regulation category en route to capturing his third European Tour title. He also finished third in the Putts per Greens in Regulation category, with an average of 1.664 putts per hole, and ninth in the Putts Per Round category. On the final day, when he shot a round of 67 to win by two strokes from Rory McIlroy, Bourdy also finished fourth in the Driving Accuracy category with an average of 85.7%.
