This week European Tour Weekly will preview the Dubai World Championship presented by: DP World. The top 60 players in The Race to Dubai will battle it out for a first prize of US$1,250,000 and a five year European Tour exemption. The climax of the inaugural Race to Dubai sees several of the world’s top players still hoping to claim the number one spot which will bring with it a cheque for US$1,500,000 and a seven year European Tour exemption. As always ETW will be on the range at the stunning Earth Course in Dubai with all the latest thoughts from the players on the eve of the event.
One of the main contenders this week for The Race to Dubai number one spot is Lee Westwood. In an exclusive interview with ETW Lee looks back at a season that has seen him notch up an incredible 12 top 10 finishes. Lee recently secured his first European Tour win for 2 seasons when he was triumphant at the Portugal Masters and will have high hopes of ending the season in the top position for the second time in his career.
