The Ryder Cup is in his blood, and in January 2009 he was unveiled as the man who will Captain the European Team at The Celtic Manor Resort in Wales. Represented Europe in eight Ryder Cups as a player and, in 2006, became the second European golfer behind Bernhard Langer to play in five successful Ryder Cup Teams.
