FootJoy, the #1 Shoe & Glove in Golf, experienced yet another double win this weekend as fellow FJ brand ambassadors, Jason Dufner and Bernd Wiesberger showcased their talents under the utmost pressure to claim maiden victories on the PGA and European Tour respectively. Dufner emerged victorious from a sudden death play-off at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans; whilst Wiesberger cruised to a five-shot win at the European Tour’s Ballantine’s Championship in South Korea.

Sunday also marked FJ loyalist Luke Donald’s return to #1 in the Official World Golf Rankings following an impressive 3rd position that saw him claw his way back from a disappointing one over-par opening round of 73.

Across the Pacific, in South Korea, wearing FootJoy’s flagship FJ ICON golf shoe, Bernd Wiesberger strode to an impressive five-shot maiden victory at The Ballantine’s Championship. Back-to-back course record rounds of 65 on Friday and Saturday were followed by a closing round of 68 as the 26 year-old surged clear of the chasing pack. The €367,500 first prize moves Wiesberger up to 13th in the season-long Race to Dubai Rankings. It was also an equally dominant weekend for FootJoy as impressive shoe count figures revealed 61% of the field at the Ballantine’s Championship trusted the excellence and performance the #1 shoe in golf.
