FJ, the #1 Shoe and Glove in Golf, is celebrating after brand ambassador Billy Horschel secured victory in the BMW Championship at Cherry Hills, elevating the American into second in the FedEx Cup points list.

Horschel, trusting the premium performance of FJ ICON™ and the comfort and fit of the FJ StaSof® Glove, held off the challenge of several of the world’s best players  to record a two-shot victory with a superb final round 69.

This followed a second place finish in the preceding event, the Deutsche Bank Championship and marks a spectacular return to form for the 27-year-old Florida resident.

He said: “I haven’t had the greatest season but I had my game today. It feels good. Last week a lot of people called me a choker but I didn’t choke. You don’t choke coming from behind.

“To lead this thing and hold on means a lot.”

Now placed second in the FedEx Cup ranking, Horschel is looking ahead to the Tour Championship at East Lake and is firmly in contention for the $10m bonus that comes with winning the season-long ranking.

“My form is really good, I’m putting good, I’m doing a lot of good things well,” he added after picking up the winner’s cheque for almost $1.5m. “I like the way I’m playing.

“I’m a momentum player and if I can just keep what I’ve been doing this week and the last two weeks, who knows what’s going to happen?”

FJ brand stalwart and world No.2 Adam Scott, meanwhile, recorded an 11th top ten of the season with a T8 finish after rounds of 71, 66, 69, 66.

FJ continued to show its overwhelming popularity among tour players on both sides of the Atlantic, dominating the counts on both PGA and European Tours over the weekend.

Just under half of all of those competing in the BMW Championship did so wearing FJ shoes (49%), while more than a third of the field (35%) put their faith in the brand’s unrivalled range of high-performing gloves.
