TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour staff professional Peter Hanson drained a long eagle putt on the 72nd hole today at Hilversumsche Golf Club to claim a two-stroke victory at the KLM Open in Hilversum, the Netherlands.

Hanson, who began the day two strokes back, struck the ball beautifully in the final round with his R11S driver and Tour Preferred MB irons. He climbed to the top of the leaderboard and found himself in a tie for the lead after 16. The European Ryder Cup player then secured victory with a monster eagle putt on 18 using TaylorMade's new Ghost Spider S prototype, a multi-material (aluminum and steel) mallet with an MOI of 5,800, that is being launched at retail 1st November, 2012.

Hanson becomes the first Swede to win the KLM Open. It was also the fifth European Tour victory for Hanson, who will soon head to Medinah to represent the European Team at the 2012 Ryder Cup.
