This week European Tour Weekly travels to the Southwest of Ireland for the Irish Open presented by Discover Ireland. The tournament returns to Killarney Golf and Fishing Club for the second consecutive year with a world class field assembling in County Kerry, including Rory McIlroy, Graeme McDowell and newly crowned Open Champion Darren Clarke. ETW will be on the range for a full preview on the eve of the event.

Last year in County Kerry Ross Fisher captured his fourth European Tour title after holding off the surge of home favourite Padraig Harrington. The win helped Ross cement his place in Colin Montgomerie’s Ryder Cup team and his wife and one year old daughter Eve were there to help him celebrate. ETW caught up with Ross in the build-up to the defence of his title.

Our review this week comes from Stockholm, and we will bring you the best of the action from the 21st Nordea Masters at Bro Hof Slott Golf Club.

Whilst in Sweden ETW also met up with American Dustin Johnson. Dustin is enjoying a prolonged trip to Europe after competing for The 140th Open Championship at Royal St George’s where he finished joint runner-up behind Darren Clarke. Dustin also talks ETW through his experience playing against Europe in last year’s Ryder Cup at The Celtic Manor Resort.

Thirty years after Walton Heath Golf Club staged the first Ryder Cup to be played between Europe and the United States The European Senior Tour returns to the venue for The Senior Open Championship 2011. ETW brings you the best of the action as well as a profile on Carl Mason, who earlier this year won his 24th European Senior Tour title which broke the previous record held by Tommy Horton.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
