This week European Tour Weekly remains in South East Asia for the UBS Hong Kong Open at the Hong Kong Golf Club.  For many at Fanling this is will be the last chance to move into the top 60 in the Race to Dubai and qualify for the elite Dubai World Championship presented by DP World, and for others further down the rankings the goal will be survival and the fight to maintain playing privileges on the European Tour for next year.  ETW will be on the range talking to the players on the eve of this pressure packed tournament.

Last year at Fanling, Ian Poulter, aided by a sensational ten under par 60 second round, held off Italian prodigy Matteo Manassero to win his tenth tour title.  ETW caught up with the Englishman ahead of his defence.

In the first of two reviews this week ETW looks back at the Omega Mission Hills World Cup from Hainan Island in China where 28 teams represented their country in a bid to win the prestigious trophy.

Our second review comes from the South African Open and ETW will bring you the best of the action from the Serengeti Golf Club which was hosting this event for the first time.

Whilst in South Africa ETW spoke to one of South Africa’s greats, Ernie Els who was defending his fifth South African Open title.

We also have a special report on the Tour Players Foundation, the charitable arm of the European Tour.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
