Retief Goosen Golf Clinic (Volvo in Golf)
Retief Goosen Golf Clinic (Volvo in Golf)

The European Tour spends its third and final week in South Africa, as the Tour heads to The Links at Fancourt, near George, for the second edition of the Volvo Golf Champions. The inaugural event was held last year in Bahrain and was won by Paul Casey, who, due to injury, is sadly unable to defend his title. European Tour Weekly will be on the range to find out the thoughts of the players all hoping to succeed Casey as the champion of champions.

This week ETW catches up with a legend - three time Major winner Ernie Els, who invites us into his home in George and reveals his plans for 2012. Tom Lewis is hoping to become a legend like Els, and we met with the Portugal Masters champion and Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year as he embarks on his first full season on The European Tour. Daniel Denison is happy to be even playing after suffering horrific injuries in a car crash in 2007. He was one of a number of players involved in a sports science eye clinic held at The Joburg Open and he gives us his thoughts on this and life back on Tour after a long spell out.

We will also bring you an update on how Denison and the rest of the field fared at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club in our review.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
