Asia is the focus this week for European Tour Weekly as we are in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, for the Maybank Malaysian Open. As usual, ETW will be present to get the thoughts of the players at the Kuala Lumpur G&CC.

As The Race to Dubai starts to take shape, a resurgent Sergio Garcia finds himself in second place confirming his return to form. Garcia played a major part in Europe’s success at Medinah in September and this season narrowly missed out on victory at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. ETW caught up with Garcia in Spain as he opened his first Junior Golf Academy.

Our review comes from India, and the Avantha Masters and ETW will bring you the best of the action from the Jaypee Greens Golf Club.

ETW recently spoke to European Tour rookie Eddie Pepperell. The 22-year-old from Oxford came through last year’s Challenge Tour after finishing 13th on the rankings, thanks mainly to his victory at the 2012 ALLIANZ Open Côtes d’Armor Bretagne.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
