Charl Schwartzel lies three shots behind clubhouse leader Bill Hass after day two of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance at Muirfield Village.

The first round leader from South Africa still had three holes of his second round remaining when play was suspended due to darkness following a weather delay.

The former Masters Tournament winner had three birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey in the 15 holes possible to slip to six under par.

Haas completed a five under par 67 to advance to nine under in Ohio, with his fellow Americans Matt Kuchar, Kyle Stanley and Bubba Watson sharing second with Schwartzel.

Swede Robert Karlsson carded 71 to lie tied for seventh on four under, alongside England’s World Number Four Justin Rose, who had four holes left to play on Saturday.
