Welshman Rhys Enoch moved into a two shot lead in the European Tour Qualifying School First Stage Section A after a five under par second round of 67 at The Roxburghe Hotel and Golf Course in Scotland.
Mark Hillson is in second place on home soil on seven under par overall after making a double bogey on the 18th hole, with England’s Chris Rodgers and Northern Ireland’s Alan Dunbar one shot further back in a tie for third place.
Meanwhile at Fleesensee Golf and Country Club in Germany, a trio of Swedes, Claes Isaksson, Marcus Larsson and Richard Pettersson, all sit on nine under par to share a one shot lead over the field.
Their nearest challenger is American Nathan Anderson as overnight leader, home hope Sebastien Heisele, could only manage a level par round of 72 to sit four shots off the leaders.
After four rounds, the top 23 players and ties from Fleesensee and the top 18 and ties from The Roxburghe will progress to the Second Stage, which will be played across four Spanish venues in November.
The drama will once again climax at the PGA Catalunya Resort near Girona, Spain, from November 14-19, where the top 25 players and ties will earn a European Tour card for 2016.
