Won twice on the US PGA Tour in 2010 and contributed three points from a possible four at The 2010 Ryder Cup, where the United States lost to Europe by a point. Also made the cut in all four Majors, his best performance coming at the US PGA Championship, where he finished tied 18th. That continued his fine form of 2009, the best season of his career as he won three times on the PGA Tour, finished third in the FedEx Cup and moved to a career-high second in the Official World Golf Ranking. Won the 2001 WGC - Accenture Match Play, beating Sweden's Pierre Fulke in the final in Melbourne. Wife Nicki was his caddie throughout his career until the birth of their first daughter in 1998. Father-in-law Dennis Tiziani, the golf coach at University of Wisconsin, is his teacher and brother-in-law Mario Tiziani has also played on the US PGA Tour.
