Parents emigrated to New Zealand from London in 1962 and still possesses a British passport. 'Maybe I could still play in the Ryder Cup' he jokes. Lives in Perth, Australia, but hails from Blenheim on the northerly tip of the South Island in New Zealand. Played on the Australasian Tour for several years and best finish was second to Peter Fowler in the 1991 New Zealand Open. Lost a play-off in first Challenge Tour event, the Diners Club Austrian Open, to Juan Ciola, in 1999. Tried for his card in the 1998 Qualifying School but missed card by one shot. Returned to the School in 1999 and secured 31st card which he promptly lost before making another visit in 2000 and finishing a creditable fourth.
