Made a swift return to The Race to Dubai in resounding fashion by winning the Qualifying School Final Stage at European Tour Destination PGA Catalunya by two shots with a 20 under par total – thus claiming a place back amongst the European elite after failing to retain his card in 2014. In doing so, he repeated a feat he achieved a year prior, when he lost his playing privileges in 2013 despite notching three top ten finishes, before bouncing straight back via the Final Stage again – the third time in four years he has managed to do so. Began playing the game aged ten after his father had started a year earlier. Quickly overtook his father and secured his card for The 2011 European Tour courtesy of finishing third at Qualifying School. Struggled with the step up and was back on the Challenge Tour in 2012, finishing 29th in the Rankings before earning another bite of the cherry on The European Tour by taking the 13th card at Qualifying School Final Stage. Played junior and amateur golf with Mikko Ilonen, and always uses the same green markers whenever he plays. Enjoys cooking and is a burgeoning wine buff.
