Won his first European Tour title at the inaugural Shot Clock Masters in his 146th attempt on the European Tour. He then went on to claim his second title with a play-off victory over Benjamin Hebert at the Volvo China Open. Began playing the game aged ten after his father had started a year earlier. Played junior and amateur golf with Mikko Ilonen. Has bounced between Challenge Tour and European Tour, and has also graduated from Qualifying School (including a win in the Final Stage in 2014) four times. Enjoys cooking and is a burgeoning wine buff.
