Retained his European Tour card for the first time in his career in 2015 thanks to a superb finish, winning €126,000 from four events late in the campaign. Shot a final round 63 in the KLM Open in September to jump into seventh place – one of three top tens all year. Won the Qualifying School Final Stage in late 2014, and also made it through the six-round marathon at PGA Catalunya Resort in 2013 and 2012. Began playing the game aged ten after his father had started a year earlier. Played junior and amateur golf with Mikko Ilonen, and always uses the same green markers whenever he plays. Enjoys cooking and is a burgeoning wine buff.
