Began playing the game aged ten after his father had started a year earlier. Played junior and a mateur golf with Mikko Ilonen. Has bounced between Challenge Tour and European Tour, graduating from Qualifying School (including a win in the Final Stage in 2014) four times in the last seven seasons. Won his first European Tour title at the inaugural Shot Clock Masters in June 2018 at his 146th attempt on the European Tour. His previous career-best was a runner-up finish at the 2017 Tshwane Open. Enjoys cooking and is a burgeoning wine buff.
