Born in Santiago, Chile, but adopted at three months old and raised by a Swedish family, he is now a self-confessed “golf addict” after first picking up a club at the age of three. Studied Sociology at Georgia State University and counts Thomas Björn as a mentor and friend, having helped teach his children how to play golf on the island of Skaftö, where both families have holiday homes. Showed signs of promise on the Challenge Tour in 2008, before a recurring back injury halted his progress the following year. But after returning to full fitness in 2010, he embarked on an astonishingly consistent season, finishing in the top five on six occasions - more than any other player on the Challenge Tour - to earn promotion to The European Tour as the 12th graduate. The closest he came to his maiden victory was at the Roma Golf Open 2010 presented by REZZA, where he forced a play-off with two eagles in his final four holes, before being edged out at the first extra hole by Denmark’s Andreas Hartø. Close friend of fellow 2010 Challenge Tour graduate Thorbjørn Olesen and enjoyed a fine 2012 season, finishing 65th in The Race to Dubai after compiling four top ten finishes.
