Biography

Joined the golfing elite when he won the 2007 Masters Tournament at Augusta National, finishing with a three under par 69 for a two-stroke victory. Followed that with a win in the AT&T Classic, ensuring his first three US PGA Tour victories occurred in Georgia. Has finished in the top 40 in all four seasons on the US PGA Tour and earned a career-best $3,922,338 in 2007. Began playing golf at age ten and lists his father, a chiropractor, and mother among his heroes. Huge Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball fan. The gallery at the 2004 BellSouth Classic, venue for his first US PGA Tour victory included a group of about ten men from Iowa who gave him financial support early in his career. Some were seeing him play as a pro for the first time.
