Claimed the 22nd card at 2016 Qualifying School Final Stage to regain his European Tour playing rights. Won the 2010 Nordea Scandanavian Masters in his native Sweden in stunning fashion, holing a 30ft birdie putt at the last to win by one from Rafa Echenique. Formerly a professional skateboarder but once broke seven ribs, a hand and a foot attempting stunts. Also played high level handball in Sweden and is an excellent tennis player. Played on the European Tour between 2000 and 2002 and won the 2002 ANZ Championship before switching to the US PGA Tour, where he won the 2008 U.S. Bank Championship. Enjoyed his best season in 2006 when he finished in the top 50 on the Money List. Finished tied eighth at the 2009 Open Championship before his exploits in his homeland a year later earned him exemption to the European Tour for 2011. Took up golf aged 15 as his girlfriend’s family played and subsequently won two junior international events.
