Biography

The New Zealander found redemption on the 2016 Road to Oman after missing out by one spot in the Rankings 12 months earlier on the European Challenge Tour. A landmark 2016 season included victory at the Tayto Northern Ireland Open in Partnership with Ulster Bank, a visit to Rio to represent his country as golf returned to the Olympic Games and eight top-ten finishes in 13 Challenge tour events – which earned him fourth place in the Rankings. Announced his introduction to golf in Europe with victory in Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge in 2015, just his fourth event on European soil. Son of legendary All Black fly-half Grant Fox, who played in the 1987 World Cup win and was selector for their 2011 and 2015 triumphs. His maternal grandfather, Merv Wallace, played international cricket for New Zealand. He relocated to Wimbledon in 2016 and is attached to Foxhills, and he is a keen fisherman away from the golf course.
