Became the first player since Tiger Woods to win at least once in each of his first seven seasons on the US PGA Tour, and has a total of nine victories, the most recent coming at the 2015 WGC-Cadillac Championship. Has several times come close to claiming his first Major Championship, including at the 2015 U.S. Open, where he needed to par the par five last to force a play-off with Jordan Spieth, but three-putted from 12 feet. Known for his immense hitting, he represented the United States as an amateur in the 2007 Walker Cup, and was in the Ryder Cup teams in 2010 and 2012. Is engaged to Paulina Gretzky, daughter of former ice hockey player Wayne Gretzky. Sport runs in his family, too, with his grandfather a successful basketball player in the 1960s.
