Swept the board at the Challenge Tour Grand Final in 2012, taking the title with a superb performance and winning the Rankings as a result. Claimed his maiden professional victory earlier in the season, at the Double Tree by Hilton Acaya Open, where he finished eagle- birdie-par to win by one from JB Hansen. Was unable to retain his playing rights in 2013 and was plagued by injury problems in 2014, although he recovered in time to take the 12th card at the Qualifying School Final Stage in November and earn another season on the top tier. Started playing at the age of five at a golf course in Sweden which was a 15 minute boat ride from the family’s summer house in Norway. Caught the bug quickly and competed regularly in amateur competitions at home before furthering his golfing education at the University of Denver in the United States. His sporting career could have taken a different path however if he had followed in his mother’s footsteps, as she was a European skiing champion in the 1970s.
