Claimed the 17th card at the Qualifying School Final Stage to earn a first full season on The European Tour in 2015, having entered the week at PGA Catalunya Resort as the World Number 74. Opened with three rounds in the 60s to establish his position at the top end of the leaderboard through 54 holes, but he would still find himself right on the qualifying mark on the final day with just a handful of holes remaining. Dug deep with two birdies in his closing five to finish two inside the eventual mark, and has set his sights on adding European Tour titles to the five he has won on the Asian Tour. Has won 11 times on his native Indian Tour, finishing top of the Order of Merit in 2009, after a successful amateur career in which he was crowned national champion in 2006 and 2007. Was introduced to the game by his father – a doctor in the army – and got hooked on the game after he took part in a junior competition aged 12.
