Biography

Won back his place on The European Tour via the 2007 Challenge Tour, winning the largest first prize in Challenge Tour history at the Kazakhstan Open. His winner’s cheque for €48,000 saw him barge his way to the top end of the Rankings before he finished the year in fifth place. The 1992 British Boys Champion produced one of the great stories of the 2005 Qualifying School - Final Stage. Began the sixth and final round at San Roque Club on nine over par and five shots outside the top 30 places that were to guarantee a place on The 2006 European Tour, but conjured “the best round of my career” with a superb nine under par 63 to surge through the field and take ninth position. As well as his victory in Kazakhstan last season, he tasted Challenge Tour success at the 2004 Tessali Metaponto Open di Puglia e Basilicata.
