Jonas Koelbing made home advantage pay, taking a two shot lead at the end of round one of the First Stage of European Tour Qualifying School at Golf and Country Club Fleesensee in Germany.

Koelbing had a roller coaster round, carding two eagles, five birdies and two bogies on the way to a seven under par 65.

Sweden’s Mathias Johansson and Miro Veijalainen of Finland are tied for second place at five under par, while Adam Eineving of Sweden, Austria’s Berni Reiter, Spaniard David Borda and Thomas Bonney of the USA are one further back at four under.

Meanwhile, Denmark’s Rasmus Hjelm leads by one shot at the end of round one in the other First Stage Section A event at the Roxburghe Hotel & Golf Course in Scotland.
