With 156 players gathering to partake in one of golf’s greatest challenges, The European Tour Qualifying School’s Final Stage, this BBC Five Live special explores the pressures involved with three players who have been there and done that.
Elly Oldroyd is joined by BBC golf correspondent Iain Carter and summariser Paul Eales, a winner on the European Tour but, more significantly for this programme, a Q School graduate, for the podcast.
They speak to former Ryder Cup player Oliver Wilson, who plays at PGA Catalunya this week, Irishman Colm Moriarty, who has decided to take a break from the game, and former Challenge Tour winner Gary Boyd as they discuss the trials and tribulations of Q-School and what exactly is on the line at the gruelling six-day marathon of golf.
