More European Tour hopefuls will tee off this week in the second instalment of The European Tour Qualifying School First Stage spread across two events in England and Germany.
Two charming courses in Frilford Heath, England and Fleesensee Golf and Country Club, Germany were elected to share the hosting duties for Section B of the marathon examination.
The First Stage is constructed of four sections in total, with each section divided between two competitions, totalling in eight tournaments overall.
A percentage of golfers from each event, depending on the numbers that enter, will then progress through to Stage Two, which will be staged at four venues across Spain.
Advancement from the Second Qualifying Stage will subsequently lead to the final stage at the stunning PGA Catalunya Resort, where, following six gruelling rounds, the top 25 (and ties) will gain entry onto The 2015 Race to Dubai.
Fleesensee, part of the respected European Tour Properties Network, is set in the idyllic Mecklenburg Lake District while the corresponding side of Section B is being staged in the wonderful heathland setting of Frilford Heath in Oxfordshire
Last week, in Section A, 46 entrants kept their hopes of European Tour qualification alive following an intriguing start to the qualification campaign.
Scot Neil Fenwick topped the order as 20 aspiring card holders progressed from the field at The Roxburghe Hotel and Golf Course, Scotland.
Meanwhile, 26 came through from the pack at Golfclub Schloss Ebreichsdorf in Austria, after the last day of the competition was abandoned following torrential conditions, resulting in a water logged course. The event was deduced to 54 holes, after which time, Nico Gegyer and Anders Schmidt Hansen had shared the lead.
