Jimmy Mullen continues to lead the way at the European Tour Qualifying School Second Stage in El Saler as he seeks to lead 18 qualifiers to Final Stage in Catalunya later this month.

The 21 year old Englishman posted a third round of 70 to move to 12 under and a one stroke lead over Christopher Feldborg Nielsen of Sweden and Michael G Palmer of South Africa into Monday’s final round.

That leading trio look to be safely into Final Stage, but with 23 players separated by two strokes either side of the current qualifying mark of three under, it will be a nerve-shredding final round for so many players chasing the dream of a place on The European Tour.

At the three other venues comprising the Second Stage, Spanish Amateur Scott Fernandez leads by two at Panoramica, Swedish amateur Marcus Kinhult and England’s Jamie Rutherford share the lead at Las Colinas and the English duo of Daniel Gavins and Matt Wallace are tied for the lead at Lumine.
