Former Amateur Champion Bradley Neil carded a final round 66 to finish six under par and secure the win at the Qualifying School First Stage Section B at Golfclub Schloss Ebreichsdorf in Austria.
Neil was bogey free on the final day, the Scotsman cool under pressure with one of his six birdies coming on the 18th to push him two shots clear of his chasers and into the Second Qualifying Stage in November.

China’s Hu Mu signed off for the day with an impressive 66, sharing second place with Korean Soosang Hong, Frenchman Mathieu Fenasse and Swisse Benjamin Rusch, all finishing at ten under par.
In total, 26 players at Ebreichsdorf qualified for the Second Stage with total rounds of 279, nine under par, enabling qualification to move onto the next stage.
Meanwhile, over at Collingtree Park it was Englishman Simon Griffiths topping the table at 14 under par to secure victory and qualification for the Second Stage, two shots clear of compatriot Dave Coupland at 12 under par.

England’s Alex Belt and Martin Woodbridge rounded out the top four placings, with Irishman Brian Casey coming in at ten under par in fifth place. In total, 27 players qualified on 283 at five under par.
