Matteo Manassero has been named The Race to Dubai European Tour Golfer of the Month for May following his “sensational” victory in the BMW PGA Championship – The European Tour’s flagship event – at Wentworth Club, Surrey, England, with which he continued to re-write the record books of golf.
Siem named Golfer of the Month for March
Marcel Siem has been named The Race to Dubai European Tour Golfer of the Month for March following his wire-to-wire win in the Trophée Hassan II, with which he came within a whisker of gaining a place in the Masters Tournament.
Fichardt named Golfer of the Month for February
Darren Fichardt has been named The 2013 Race to Dubai European Tour Golfer of the Month for February after being 35 under par for his eight rounds in winning the Africa Open and finishing runner-up in the Tshwane Open in his native South Africa.
Wood named Golfer of the Month for January
Chris Wood has been named The 2013 Race to Dubai European Tour Golfer of the Month for January after securing his maiden win on The European Tour International Schedule with a stunning eagle three at the final hole in the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters at Doha Golf Club.
Jiménez named Golfer of the Month for November
Miguel Angel Jiménez has been named The Race to Dubai European Tour Golfer of the Month for November in recognition of his record-breaking victory in the UBS Hong Kong Open.
Hanson named Golfer of the Month for October
Peter Hanson has been named The 2012 Race to Dubai European Tour Golfer of the Month for October after “winning against the best of the best” by repelling World Number One Rory McIlroy and Ryder Cup colleagues Luke Donald and Ian Poulter to capture the BMW Masters at Lake Malaren Golf Club in Shanghai.
Poulter wins Golfer of the Month
Ian Poulter has been named The Race to Dubai Golfer of the Month for September after he left “a continent in rapture” with his influential display as Europe surged from behind to retain The Ryder Cup against the United States at the Medinah Country Club on the outskirts of Chicago.
McIlroy wins Golfer of the Month
Rory McIlroy has been named The Race to Dubai European Tour Golfer of the Month for August following his stunning, record-breaking victory in the US PGA Championship.
Els named Golfer of the Month for July
Ernie Els has been named The Race to Dubai European Tour Golfer of the Month for July following his dramatic Open Championship victory at Royal Lytham & St Annes.
Donaldson named Golfer of the Month for June
Jamie Donaldson has been named The Race to Dubai European Tour Golfer of the Month for June following his success in the Irish Open which provided him with his maiden Tour win after 12 years as a professional and in his 255th Tour event.
